Early planning: Dates for 2012
Sat 18th Feb volunteers needed between 10am – 2pm for a clean up gang to give St Peter’s a thorough and sparkling once over.
Sat 3rd March a QUIZ night at St Peter’s.
Sat 14th April STEVENAGE LADIES CHOIR perform at St Peter’s.
Sun 6th May DRAGON BOAT RACING at Fairlands Valley Park.
… Sat 12th May The Living Room 12th Anniversary Ball at Knebworth Barns.
Plans for a Golf Day are underway, if that’s your bag then chip in….
The charity shops are in urgent need of more volunteers. If you can spare any time between 9am – 5pm then call asap.

Brrring in the New Year

Aston Camponoligists Enterprises will be performing hand bell tunes and demonstrating church bell ringing along with Janis Feely MBE, CEO giving a talk on the work of The Living Room.
On Thursday 5th January
Starting at 8pm at Longmeadow Church, 123 Oaks Cross, SG2 8LT
There will be no charge for this event but a retiring collection of donations.
Refreshments will be served.
Please come and support this event and raise funds to support the work of The Living Room.

Xmas Fayre

Father Christmas will be at The Living Room’s Xmas Fayre this Saturday, 12th November from 1pm to 4pm.
£2 a child to visit the grotto and receive a gift.
Decorations, novelties and gifts for sale. Refreshments.

Swimming for recovery

Jean Doe who has worked on reception at The Living Room since it openend in 2000, is to swim 20 lengths of Stevenage’s Odyssey 25m pool on Sunday October 8th.

Tandem Ride For Recovery

Stevenage Male Voice choir present a “GRAND NIGHT OF SINGING” on Saturday 9th July 2011 at St Peters Church, Broadwater Cresent, Stevenage, SG2 8AN.

Starting at 7.30pm with waitress service bar and light refreshments.

£8 a ticket or £5 concessions

All proceeeds will go towards supporting the charity
